The idea: to blackmail all countries into submission by raising Tariffs onto them and extorting money or favors to remedy the Tariffs or reduce and eliminate the Tariffs.
Does it work? If you are depraved enough to want that then yes it works, in a criminal mindset. We elected a Felon to the Oval Office. Expect more than that.
It can be compared to Christianity: by saying all people are sinners only by redemption (i.e. becoming a Christian) will you save yourself. He was also a convicted Felon. Reality: NO ONE is born a Sinner: you have to earn that by becoming evil or depraved.
If you are brave, ignore the Tariffs because only Consumers are affected. Foreign nations are not being taxed. You are. It is a Con-Man’s Ploy. Eventually the Glorious Leader will see that nothing is going his way and STOP the Tariffs.
Make America Great by not bringing on the next GREAT DEPRESSION. The same tactics which caused that are alive today.
The Stock Market declines when people sell their Investments, NOT because you did anything wrong. It is actually a good time to buy Stocks when the prices are low because they will increase again later. Then you will have more Stocks to sell at your leisure. It is a Roller Coaster effect.
