Recently I tried to publish one of my books (Antiqristianity: the religion of Alexander the Great) and I ran into a problem: the font I wrote with was "Lucida Fax." Amazon KDP called this "an error" and forced me to edit it with an accepted font. I first tried to simply highlight the text and change it to a different font, but the PDF remembered the font and didn't allow me to publish it. Traces of Lucida font was in the Word.doc file and in the .pdf file. So I copied the text into a Notepad program, then recopied that into a New File (Word.doc) with "Arial" font (one of the accepted fonts listed by KDP). Note that my book was then 406 pages long. The Max # of pages with color images is 600 pages. Then I published it with success. It still had errors ("embedded fonts") but that is usual, even if I embedded them correctly (Bold or Italics).
So I stopped using Lucida fonts. I had to look online for the solution.
