The Mechanics of a Rock Sling ©M7C 2026
The Habiru story of Prince David and Goliath is a revision of Egyptian Prince Horus versus Seth. Seth was stronger but Horus was more intelligent. The same story reference applies to Marduk (Horus) and Tiamat (Seth) in the Babylonian legends. Goliath in the Bible version was stronger and had better weapons but had a weak spot between his eyes. David used a rock Sling as his weapon. A rock sling is a strip of cloth with a rock fitted in the center of the cloth, which is spun around the head to gain momentum and released. The speed from twirling the sling causes more damage than simply throwing a rock. One end of the sling is wrapped around the wrist or forearm. The other end is held by the fingers. David used the sling to kill Goliath, the leader of the Philistines and then he took their land for the country of Ancient Israel. The Egyptian story of Prince Horus versus Seth is supposed to be ongoing, but in the future Horus vanquished Seth and restores the Global Kingdom of Lord Osiris. In later Christianity, the Kingdom of God conquers the Middle East (Chapter 20, Eye of the Pharaoh). Each succeeding civilization seems to preserve the Ancient Prophecy. Will it be Peace through Strength or Success from Intellect?
