Story Props are common in most ancient religions.  Take the "ritual" tomb of Osiris at Giza for instance, or the Armor of Achilles that Alexander the Great discovered in the City of Troy on the way to Persia.  These Story Props help to "legitimize a religion through physical artifacts."
