In God We Trust...

The Expression on USA Currency: "In God We Trust" has nothing to do with religion.  In early times, Gold was currency.  People would paint Lead with Gold leaf and call it Gold, because Lead has the same relative weight as Gold.  So as people cannot be trusted, God can be trusted because (in Christianity, the religion of Republicans) he is "good" and "pure" and would never hoodwink the Public with falsehood. Now should the USA regard visiting Deities as something other than this, it would invalidate the American Dollar.
