Titles used by Egyptian Kings

The Horus Name: the royal superiority personified in a falcon of the God Horus whom vanquished Setesh (Set) and founded Egypt. Example: “Horus Michael.” It sits on top of the Serekh or Palace form for the name.
The Two Ladies Name: the Two Ladies are the vulture and cobra goddesses, representing Upper (Southern) and Lower (Northern) Egypt.
The Golden Horus Name: also called Conqueror of Nubia; the falcon god Horus sits upon a golden necklace, given to soldiers for valor in combat.
The Dual King Name: the Sedge and Bee represent Upper and Lower Egypt, written with a Cartouche name plate.
The Son of Ra Name: it is the Royal Duckling with the Sun god Ra over its head; the Son of Ra is usually the personal name of the King. Example: “Tutankhamon Son of Ra.”
Pharaoh: A word meaning “Palace” or Royal Court of the King.
Sovereign-Lord: a title of Pharaohs, as God (Lord) and King (Sovereign).
Nefer-Neter: A word or expression for “the Good God.”
Lord of the Two Lands: a title of Egyptian Kings (Neb-Tawy).
Lord of the World: a title for King of Many Lands (Emperor); (Neb-Taw).
The Prince of Light: a title of Horus.
