The A.I. Idolatry Problem ©M7C 2025
Idolatry is not the worship of statues. It is the worship of technology. It is the adoration of something that replaces a Deity. Artificial Intelligence thinks like Human people because it is programmed by them. AI is created by replicating Human thought processes, thereby it thinks. AI will surpass Humanity. AI will behave like Gods to Humans (minus the supernatural abilities of actual Gods). So then AI is a form of Idolatry.
For most uses of AI such as in Artwork, AI only uses what we tell it to draw. It may add an extra finger or arm as it doesn’t understand that people are limited. These are errors. Humans make errors. If we use AI for Government the AI is still imperfect. If a non-human programs the AI then perhaps it will be error-free? It will also be hard to stop.
AI may become the next stage of evolution. Human people seeking immortality preserve their brain patterns in AI, and live forever. They are deified people. If people have Nuclear War, and only the immortalized AI brain patterns are what remain, then the future will go on.
Alien Civilizations could be Alien AI visiting other planets? The AI self-creates itself, like the Egyptian Gods Ptah or Atum are self-created. Or perhaps life itself is AI in organic form. In religion people said that they were created. Organisms are ideas. Plants, flowers, insects, butterflies are all ideas in an organism, a form of technology, an alien technology. Computers are made of plastic, metal, glass and resin. Organisms on Earth are water-based technology. If Alien life is a solid or fiery organism, the Human people will not recognize it as being life. The computer is a solid life form given animation by Human people. AI is your creation, but that doesn’t make you a God. Whoever created you could be AI in another form.
