The Name of the Messiah is not Jesus Christ ©M7C 2025
Iesu Nazareth?
Reference:
As Professor Dineke Houtman explains, “His name would probably have been in Aramaic: Yeshua. It is likely that this is also how he introduced himself.”
Another is the shorter form Yeshu, which is that employed in later rabbinic literature. Professor Candida Moss agrees: “Most scholars do also agree that his name was Yeshua or maybe Yeshu, which was a very common name in first-century Galilee.”
From Greek, it entered Latin as IESVS. This form of the name (and similar forms, such as Iesu) persisted until the 17th century, when the word was spelled with an English J.
Over time, “Christ” shifted from being a title to almost a second name, but its roots are all about mission and identity, not family lineage.
That’s why the Gospels generally refer to him as “Jesus of Nazareth”…

About the Author: Horus Michael follows the training of Ancient Egyptian Priests in his varied works on the Occult. He also studies Egyptian Archaeology. He currently lives in California, USA. Iesu Nazareth was a First Century Prophet and past life of Horus Michael. He is also called Iesu of Nazareth, Founder of Christianity, a Romanized form of Osiris worship using Ancient Egyptian ideology exported to Judea during the Roman Empire. The Modern "Jesus the Christ" was based on his Occult Biography. The original Templar Knights claimed descent from Iesu Nazareth as their Grand Master.
