Welcome to Afterlife Real Estate! The Afterlife offers many affordable and exquisite homes for the next stage of your existence after the Starter Planet of Earth. Each is paid for, or on reservation, with the currency called Maat. Each Maat is valued as One Good Deed or positive action performed while alive on Earth or when dead in Duat. Maat currency is also the number of points or credits resulting from the standard Weighing of the Heart Ceremony by Lord Anubis, as performed prior to entrance into the Afterlife. The total score of positive Deeds is calculated then. Should the Heart be equalized to the weight of the Maat Feather on the Scales of Maat, then the person passes the exam.
The Afterlife is like a blank canvas until the Soul contributes ideas to his or her (their) future existence. Originally it was just an empty Dimension for storing Souls after their physical form expired. The Ancient Egyptians added landscape with buildings in their Afterlife program. The Greeks had some influence here. The Romans just simply used what ideas came before them, as did the Christians and other Monotheists. A qualified Kheri-Heb Priest is an Afterlife Specialist. Any negative actions will subtract from the total score per the individual at the Weighing of Hearts Ceremony.
The Physical form shapes the Spirit (Akh). After the Weighing Ceremony is complete, the Ka (Double) and Ba (Soul) fuse into the Akh (Spirit). The Akh may exist in the Duat (Otherworld) or Heaven (The Milky Way Galaxy) and other regions. The Akh may reincarnate into a new physical form as an option to Eternal Life as a Perfected Spirit. Travel as a Spirit uses a Dimensional Portal, or “False-Door” found in Egyptian tombs, sometimes with a Ladder or stairs, or oars for the Ferry Boat (Charon).
