Egypt should dig more artesian wells to captivate a water supply, not rely entirely on the Nile. An emptier Nile will reveal sunken treasures from Ancient River craft, old chariots, pollution, and even heretics like Akhenaton!
Ethiopia has a legal right to water, even if a Human Right or biological one. Egypt should not be the sole user of Water, bullying lesser Nations over resources that are necessary for life; water is not a luxury, it is necessity. Ethiopia has charities in the past over its famines and droughts. The dam will address this issue. Wells in Egypt will more likely find buried tombs and other structures like the water tunnels used by Pharaohs.
