Did Ancient Egypt suffer from Smog?
Orange Suns (Carnelian stones) in their artwork indicates air pollution (normal is golden - Aton).
Look
up to the Sun during wildfire season in California or any place where
they occur. It will be red or orange in color. Air pollution in
Ancient Egypt came from wood burning kilns to make Faience and glass
works, bread, or in Sinai Copper Mines to smelt Copper metal. Trees
were rare because the people used them in industry.
