Some Scientists now "believe" that Egyptian Mummification was for turning bodies into Statues, not for preserving the body itself. (They obtain this idea from some of my books?). Egyptians worshiped the Spirits or the Gods who appeared like Spirits inside Statues, not idols. The Spirits were summoned into the Statues (as on my video). Egyptians wanted to worship or venerate the Spirits of the Dead inside the preserved body as a Ka Statue.
