Book Banning prevents Literacy
Some American States are banning books. Does this remind you of Nazi Germany when books were set ablaze? No, because you cannot have books to know about this in those States. As an Author this upsets me. Laws are written in book form. The Bible is a book. The Internet is one large Book. Websites are digital Books. The Metaverse is a digital environment with written or holographic books. Literacy needs Books, i.e. the written language. The Library of Congress holds the Nations' books (and Copyrights).
It starts as selective prohibition -- they ban certain books that talk of social issues they want forgotten. Then this escalates to all books. The Hyksos in their time ruling Ancient Egypt could not read the Egyptian language, so they didn't see the conspiracy to overthrow them. The Hyksos could be the origin of the 'Habiru (Hebrews), whom were a problem in the late 18th Dynasty. The 'Habiru at least wrote about their experiences in Egypt in a book, that later became the Bible once they mastered Literacy.
History and culture are the main targets of this Literary Conspiracy in USA. The Islamic State Ideology is against History and Culture. Why did USA allow this evil to enter the Country and take over the minds of the Government?
