The Ancient Egyptian word for Deity was represented as a Flag (NTR), a Divine Person, or a Star. Pledging Allegiance to a Flag is to honor or pledge loyalty to the Deity, as on the Great Seal of USA, which is Ra the Egyptian Creator/Sun God. The Pyramid is the body of Ra, and the Eagle or Falcon with the solar crown of stars is also Ra (M7). Wishing upon a Star (Disney) is veneration of an Egyptian Deity (Dua).
