It is important to clear any already-used Active Spells to prevent unwanted random events in the News. An "attack spell" will attack the target once, then create random "attacks" in the World until it is deactivated (to deactivate a spell is to remove anything contacting the spell in the book, like a business card or photo). This happened recently. Not to worry, all Active Spells from 2024 are since deactivated in 1/1/2025. Happy New Year 2025!
