Earthquakes are movements of Tectonic plates below the surface of the Earth, caused by the friction of trapped gases. To cause an Earthquake is to repeatedly contort those gases (above) with Elemental ability. This is like shaking an unopened can of Soda Pop and watching it explode. The carbonated drink will expand and move violently. When the Tectonic plates move the trapped gases are released to the surface, causing a surface movement or Earthquake. Originally the land of Earth was barren, but after a series of Quakes the trapped gases, notably Oxygen and Hydrogen, were released and mixed together into water vapor, which came down as rain. This formed into the Ocean and Lakes. Controlling the air with Telekinesis is called Elemental Telekinesis. By worshiping Ancient Egyptian Gods, who are personifications of Natural Forces, one can influence the weather. This may be blamed on the Gods for effect, but in reality it is the Elemental who caused it, not AmonRa (God of Air and Sunlight).
