If the former owners are "Republican" I do not care. This is because they are land owners mostly. The Arabs are researching Niihau continuously because they have OCD.

To serve on the Imperial Senate you must be at least a King. So Akua-Niihau has one seat on the Imperial Senate in Duat/5D. Not that this matters from the Earth perspective. The Imperial Senate convenes or meets once a year to discuss matters of State. Senators meet in astral form from Earth (via sleep and exit of the material form).
