In Ancient Egypt, those who failed the Judgement by Osiris entered a lava filled Chasm called the Abyss (the inspiration for Christian-Islamic "Hell"). This is a Dimensional location and is very real. If you bothered to exit your sleeping form and ventured out of your cave, this will be visible. Most of Egyptian knowledge is not based on "belief" but Science. Perhaps you will find this in your travels?
