Autumnal Equinox in Ancient Egypt

Kheper = Spring (March 21 Spring Equinox)

Ra = Summer (June 21, Solstice of Summer, Birthday of Ra)

Atum = Autumn (September 21, Autumnal Equinox)

Osiris = Winter (December 21 Winter Solstice, Birthday of Osiris)

Kheper is the Morning Sun, the God of Creation, the Spring Equinox.  Ra is the Sun at full strength at Noon, the Creator perfect, the Birth of the Sun at Summer Solstice.  Atum is the Evening Sun, the Aged Creator, the Autumnal Equinox.  Osiris is the Dead Sun, the God of the Afterlife in Duat (King of Heaven), the Winter Solstice when the Sun God was buried (As Qrist or Christ).
