H.R. 1459 would levy a two percent tax on all taxable assets over $50 million for individual filers. The bill would also levy a three or six percent tax, depending on certain circumstances, on individuals with assets worth more than $1 billion.
If the Wealth Tax is enforced would the Govt. not need to worry about borrowing against the Debt Ceiling of $28.5 trillion federal borrowing limit? There are hundreds of Billionaires in USA and Corporations whose assets are in the Trillions.
