The University of Science and Technology of China has announced a
possible location for the crash site of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 370
based on two seismic recordings (stations KUM and IPM of the Malaysia
National Seismic Network; see map). The proposed site is in the Gulf of
Thailand (orange hexagon on map).
