US conservative groups are in an uproar as an affluent D.C. suburb
decided to remove any mention of religious holidays – Christmas included
– following complaints from Muslim groups that their holidays were not
being recognized.
The multi-ethnic, multi-denominational Montgomery County
faced a dilemma after
its Muslim community had petitioned to include two of its
religious holidays in the school calendar, as was the case with
Christian and Jewish holidays.
IF human people don't like religion now, it is like a Cat not wanting its Fur just because it stopped wanting to lick it.
Human people invented Religion, along with Science, Laws, Philosophy, Google, and other aspects of Civilization (after domestication by advanced entities whom were venerated for this).
What this group did was to eliminate all religions because they don't want to accept Islam as an option. Atheism is a religion -- why not eliminate that as well? (Atheism doesn't have holidays other than Dr. Hawking's birthday).
The Gods are not pleased.
