Psychic Development is a purpose for religion. You may not notice this or be aware of what Ancient Masters actually taught. By trying to contact an entity or Prophet you are projecting ideas outwards, and this is an exercise to develop the first ability of Telepathy, where you can project out and receive inwards ideas. Connect to Time to develop Clairvoyance (Telepathy plus Time), in which you can see or perceive information in the Past, Present or Future Time. Or connect with Gravity for Telekinesis, and the Elements. Or become an Atheist and accomplish nothing.

The Mummy Returns (Review):
Good Film (9 stars):
The film is actually based on my novel, Eye of the Pharaoh, Copyright 1990-1995 Michael J. Costa. Hollywood used portions of my book for several films, including The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and The Matrix Series. Hamunaptra the lost city of the Pharaohs is an anagram of Ptah-Amun-Ra, the main character in Chapter 20 of my book. Eye of the Pharaoh was stolen and published in USA by the late Karen Weill who called it a 'true story.' The Mummy Returns used about 8 parts of the book, including the ring that projects the location of Queen Ankhesenamon's tomb (Bracelet of Anubis), Japanese weapons, reincarnation flash backs, Kheriheb Priest, controlling the weather, the butterfly-Mummy army (Army of Anubis), etc. Eye of the Pharaoh is on Academia Edu website for more information. Religion, Magic, and Psychic abilities are the same topic. Do we separate the topic by the ways of teaching it? In Monotheism there is Judaism, Christianity and Islam – the people say it is the same Deity, the same topic, so why does it matter to separate them by method? There are Red Scarabs, Blue Scarabs and Green Scarabs; each is a separate type of Scarab but are all just Scarabs. You develop Psychic abilities by teaching it without knowing that you are learning them (using stories as examples). Stories appear in religion and Magic. Some say religion is separate from Magic, and Psychic abilities. But you become Psychic by practicing Prayer and Magic.
In Prayer you are contacting someone at a great distance. You project outwards your thoughts. You send healing energy for healing prayers. Or if you use Magic, you are sending out energy for a variety of purposes. The energy is like an email attachment to your message. Curses or negative prayer sends out energy to harm, Positive Magic uses it to heal or bring fortune or for protection. An Amulet is a portable prayer stone that you carry with you. If you pray for politics you are influencing decisions of other people whom will perceive those ideas in the ocean of thoughts. This happened in the 2016 election and in the anti-Abortion ruling by SCOTUS. Supreme Court Justices have weak minds susceptible to outside influences. Evangelists declare victory when their views are fulfilled. If you pray for Sports teams to win a game, this influences the actions of the players. If you summon ideas by projecting inwards, this can draw ideas to you, such as Money or Prosperity or healing (etc.) by your environment. If you do this excessively you risk Mental Illnesses; so Psychic (ability) Exams should be part of any Mental Health system to test it for appropriate treatment.
