What does a Kheriheb Priest do? A Kheriheb or "Lector / Reader" Priest is in charge of the order of rituals, like those in ancient funerary rites (i.e. process of mummification). It is a high official and many KH Priests were well respected for their expertise in Magic, Government, Laws, Sciences, etc. KH Priests were adepts in Egyptian Magic and Natural Sciences, as one controls or influences the other. They had abilities one may call magical or supernatural. They could write spells, curses, use other abilities like part seas, freeze motion, make earthquakes, and other abilities that need research...
In today's film industry, the film The Mummy Returns featured Imhotep, a Kheriheb Priest who used his magic to cheat death and find his lost love, Anuksunamun.
