Recycled - Why you cannot find the Lost City State of Atlantis

Shortly after the City State of Atlantis was destroyed, the people took it apart to prevent enemies from stealing its assets or technology. You could find the crater, or perhaps it was filled in. The location of the City State was on an artificial Lake on the islands near Madeira (Portugal), beyond the Pillars of Herakles (north and south of the exit of the Mediterranean Sea into the Atlantic Ocean).
The City State was destroyed by a chain reaction in its Nuclear Weapons arsenal after something collided into it (UFO). That UFO ships were seen in the air above the City State, and artillery was fired onto them, would indicate this event.
It was believed that technology of Atlantis was preserved in later cultures such as Egypt and Sumer. This would also include Meso-American and Peru. The names of the Polytheist Gods are the names of Atlantean Citizens, however misspelled, and preserved in human religions/Mythology.
