Modernization
The UEIR is a form of Modernized Ancient Egypt, not "Ancient Egypt in Modern Times."
So in place of having statues in traditional form, you can have them in modern clothing -- the idea is from Ancient Rome of their Romanized Egypt whereby Ancient Egyptian Deities wore Roman outfits or participated in Roman Activities.
